AKALA College Counseling Service Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
   Welcome to AKALA, Inc ("Service Provider"). By enrolling in our college counseling service, you ("Client") agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read this agreement carefully before proceeding with enrollment.
2. Services Provided
   The Service Provider offers professional college counseling, including but not limited to guidance on college applications, target school list, major selection guidance, interview preparation, and scholarship advising.
3. Services NOT included
   College essay review services are not part of the advising program. If you are interested in the Early Dog College Essay Service, please contact your counselor or email info@goakala.com for more information. This service requires an additional fee, though enrolled AKALA students are eligible for a discount.
4. Enrollment Plans and Fees
   

   Annual AKALA College Advising Program

   • Fee: $75 per month
   • Commitment: 12-month enrollment
   • Cancellation: Clients may cancel their subscription prior to the annual renewal month to avoid automatic renewal for the next year.

   Monthly College Advising Program

   • Fee: $100 per month
   • Commitment: Month-to-month enrollment
   • Cancellation: Clients may cancel their subscription at any time.
5. Payment and Billing
   
   • Fees will be billed automatically each month to the payment method provided at the time of enrollment.
   • Failure to make a payment may result in suspension or termination of services.
   • No refunds will be issued for partial months of service.
6. Cancellation Policy
   
   • Clients enrolled in the Annual Program must submit a cancellation request before their renewal month to avoid automatic renewal.
   • Clients enrolled in the Monthly Program may cancel at any time, but no refunds will be issued for the current billing cycle.
   • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@goakala.com.
7. No Guarantee of Outcomes
   While our counselors provide expert guidance, the Service Provider makes no guarantees regarding college admission results, scholarship awards, or financial aid outcomes.
   
   We are keen to help you achieve success in the college admissions journey. In providing the services mentioned below, the Company is here to support you and work alongside you, but your child's efforts are key to achieving success. The Company will diligently work with you to meet your objectives. Keep in mind that many colleges utilize a holistic admissions approach to admissions and they will base their decisions on the entire profile of the student. This includes, but is not limited to: course rigor, GPA, test scores, class rank, extracurriculars, community service, summer experience, recommendations, demonstrated interest, the college essay, awards and honors, geography, ethnicity, gender, family educational background, special talents, socio-economic status, and planned course of study.
8. Client Responsibilities
   
   • Clients must provide accurate information and actively participate in the counseling process.
   • The Service Provider is not responsible for missed deadlines due to the Client's inaction or delays.
9. Confidentiality
   All personal information and discussions during counseling sessions will be kept confidential, except where disclosure is required by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
    The Service Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services.
11. Amendments
    The Service Provider reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes via email.
12. Acceptance of Terms
    By enrolling in our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
